🔎 HISTORY:

• The E6 Series Shinkansen, introduced in 2013 by JR East, is a high-speed train designed for the Akita Shinkansen line, linking Tokyo and Akita through the Tohoku region.
  
  
• Built by Hitachi and Kawasaki Heavy Industries, its sleek, aerodynamic design was inspired by a Japanese katana sword, optimized for narrow-gauge “mini-Shinkansen” tracks.
  
  
• The 7-car sets can reach 320 km/h when coupled with E5 trains on shared routes, making them among the fastest in Japan.
  
  
• Inside, the cabins feature elegant red-and-cream tones and premium seating with quiet comfort for long-distance travel. In total, 24 trainsets (168 cars) were produced, symbolizing precision engineering and graceful speed in motion.
